- Southwick’s Zoo Celebrates the 4th of July!
Southwick’s Zoo is open regular hours, 10am-5pm, on the 4th of July – come discover all that we have to offer! Explore our extensive variety of animal exhibits such as the deer forest, giraffe encounter, parakeet aviary, and petting zoo - with many more exciting animals along the way! Experience an aerial view of the zoo by taking a ride on our Skyfari Sky Ride, or journey through our North American Exhibit on our Woodland Express Train Ride! All rides and animal exhibits will be available weather permitting.

Hyena at Southwick's Zoo
We are proud to announce that Spotted Hyena have arrived at Southwick’s Zoo for the 2012 season. Hyenas are extremely intelligent animals with their cunning behavior, superior hunting/scavenging skills and vocalizations for communication….just to name a few. The new hyena exhibit is located right next to deer forest and the beautiful giraffe habitat. Stop by, watch for a while and learn about these amazing animals.
