Come join one of our favorite characters, Prospector Phil, as he helps you on your mining quest at the Water Sluice. Here you can pan for precious gems, fossils, and rocks. It’s a fun and interactive exhibit where you can keep cool on a hot day! Ask Prospector Phil about his quest for gold… you’ll hear some great stories!
Prospector Phil rests from mining on Thursdays and Sundays….but don’t worry, we have plenty of miners to help you find your gems!
Grab a pail and venture into the mines!
Bring your mining rough and pan in our mining sluice!
A Great Adventure……but watch out for that DYNAMITE!
Recent finds include genuine emeralds, rubies, arrowheads, dinosaur bones, fossils, and so much more!
